My application of color to my Greenland paddles is a creative process. Each Greenland paddle is a piece of artwork more than it is a product or item. I allow the materials I use to express their characteristics rather than try and constrain them. Naturally, there’s not a lot of wiggle room in the basic constraints of building the Greenland paddle itself. The technologies employed in that part of the process are very precise and not open to interpretation. However, the finishing is where the creative and artistic emphasis can be pursued. I enjoy coming up with new and interesting combinations of color, glitter, pigmentation and so on.

I can build a beautiful Greenland paddle for you. However, keep in mind that I don’t really work off of the color chips found at the local paint store. That’s not possible. I work with basic primary and secondary colors and the combinations thereof. Pick a color and let me do my thing.
